BILLING & TROUBLESHOOTINGROLLOUT GUIDE

Base payments and pay-after-call availability

Understand the difference between plan capture, x402 checkout, and the new pay-after-call flow.

In this guide

Check availability before starting#

Plan-based one-time capture uses the workspace’s included agent allowance. A separate Base/x402 checkout is a pay-per-meeting flow. Those are different from purchasing a workspace plan through the hosted crypto gateway.

Understand the network and funds#

Base Sepolia uses network tokens with no monetary value. These are separate from funds on Base mainnet. When capture is disabled, payment verification creates no recording. Use only the network and exact amount shown in the reviewed quote, and approve wallet requests yourself.

How pay-after-call is designed to work#

Production activation also needs the billing migration and a frequent background worker. Use the availability message in the app as the source of truth until rollout is complete.

  • Start capture with no wallet payment upfront, after reviewing its rate and recording terms.
  • View a limited preview; full results remain locked until the recording invoices settle.
  • At forty-minute recording checkpoints, capture pauses for explicit payment. A short final block is billed by started minute.
  • No response during the displayed grace period ends capture. No automatic wallet debit is made.
